Calea Nursing Team

The Calea nursing team prides itself on helping each and every patient meet their individual potential through our bespoke, holistic nursing to suit each patient’s needs. We offer 24-hour support with complete national coverage and have strong clinical and information governance ensuring patient dignity and privacy.

The team consists of over 300 highly skilled individuals made up of registered nurses, clinical educators, managers, planners and administrators who are supported by a strong nurse leadership team and clinical governance structure, led by the Calea head of nursing.  To facilitate a highly skilled and diverse workforce we recruit adult and paediatric registered nurses with a wide range of previous experience including but not limited to:

  • Accident and Emergency
  • Intensive Care, Paediatrics
  • Gastroenterology
  • Surgical and Medical specialities
  • Community and Palliative Care

Every Calea nurse, regardless of their experience, receives a fully comprehensive training program to ensure they are fully competent and confident to deliver high quality individualised patient care. Every nurse is supported to embark on a pathway of career development which follows them throughout their employment with Calea. Each year we celebrate nurses who have achieved milestones of service within the business and we have nurses who have worked within Calea for over 25 years.
